With the 2026 NFL schedule officially out, the Chicago Bears knew it was not going to be easy, but it is much tougher than they could have imagined.
One particular part of the schedule that will be a nightmare for the Bears is the final five games of the regular season. Here is a look at who they will be playing:
- Week 14: at Miami Dolphins
- Week 15: at Buffalo Bills (Saturday)
- Week 16: vs. Green Bay Packers (Christmas)
- Week 17: vs. Detroit Lions
- Week 18: at Minnesota Vikings
Bears better be ready for the final five games of the season
First off, Bears fans are going to wonder why the Dolphins are included on here since everyone is predicting them to be the worst team in the NFL. Well, that's because it's a trap game: the Bears have to beat the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving and the Jacksonville Jaguars in the previous two weeks, so let's not dismiss a road game in Miami as 100% easy.
After the Dolphins game, the Bears have another AFC East matchup on the road against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are always a playoff team, and with Josh Allen on the opposite side, it is going to be a dogfight.
To close out the season, Chicago has to play the NFC North three times. The good news is that they have two of those games at home, but the bad news is that all three NFC North teams had winning records in 2025.

No matter how Bears fans look at the schedule, the final five games of the season are why they have the toughest schedule in the NFL. If Chicago does not have a winning record going into that final month of the year, it could be a long five games for the Bears.
