Bears' Week 16 showdown against Packers could be for all the marbles
The Bears are currently in first place in the NFC North and in the NFC with a 9-3 record after beating the Eagles on Black Friday, and the Carolina Panthers upset the Los Angeles Rams. Green Bay is right behind them with an 8-3-1 record after winning against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.
Chicago and Green Bay will face off first in Week 14, with the winner in first place in the division and potentially in the conference. Last year, the two teams split the series, with the Packers taking the first and the Bears winning the last one in Week 18, their only division win in 2024.
With the Minnesota Vikings looking like they will miss the postseason and the Lions starting to fall apart, the Bears and Packers' Week 16 showdown might end up being for the division title. The loser of that game might be finding themselves looking forward to the Wild Card as a road team.

This might be the most crucial game in the Ben Johnson era as the Bears got a signature win against the Eagles, but they need to show that they can win multiple games in the NFC North. A victory over the Packers would transform the Bears' image in a way the city of Chicago has not seen in a long time.
