The city of Chicago is still buzzing over the signature victory of Bears head coach Ben Johnson's first year with the team, with a 24-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13.
Chicago rushed for 281 yards, which is the second-highest mark of the season for the Bears. The defense forced two turnovers and held the Eagles to just 317 total yards.
The Bears are currently 9-3 and in first place in the NFC North. They are also just a game behind the Los Angeles Rams for first place in the NFC.
There's one problem Chicago might face that might kill any chance of them winning a playoff game in 2025.
Caleb Williams is a problem the Bears must resolve
Williams had an absolutely brutal performance against the Eagles, as it was the worst of the season for him. He completed under 48% of his passes for 154 yards and one touchdown to one interception in the win.
For the season, Williams is completing only 58.1% of his passes, which is over 4% below his rookie-season completion percentage. He also has 2,722 yards and 17 touchdowns to five interceptions. Williams has also rushed for 306 yards and three touchdowns on the season.
The main problem with the Williams is that the overwhelming amount of off-target throws has been increasing every week. Despite the Bears winning games, Williams seems to be regressing as a quarterback.
Entering the final five games of the season, Williams can't afford to be doing that against the elite teams in the NFL. Yes, the running game can help carry the offense as much as possible, but Chicago is going to need Williams to step up and help push them over the top to win games.

Bears head coach Ben Johnson has a lot of work to do with Williams to get him back on track, but the numbers over the last month have not looked good for the second-year quarterback.
