The 2023-2024 NFL season for the Chicago Bears is officially over and for the third straight year not making the playoffs. Heading into the 2024 NFL Draft the Bears will hold two top-ten picks. They hold the Carolina Panthers pick from the trade last season and their pick. Carolina granted the Bears the first overall pick.

So for back-to-back seasons, the Chicago Bears find themselves with the first overall pick and a very large decision to make at the most important position in football. The Bears last season went with the trade-back approach and put their faith in Justin Fileds. This season however is going to be a lot harder to move forward with him.

The day before the 2024 NFL Draft the Bears announced a trade with the Atlanta Falcons where the Falcons traded pick 43 and pick 105 in the 2024 draft for QB Justin Fields. With Justin Fields now making his way to his hometown team and a fresh start the Bears look towards the draft.

There is going to be a handful of teams that are going to be interested in Justin Fields this offseason and those teams include, the Pittsburg Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants, and finally the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons make the most sense for Fields because they are in desperate need of a QB and they also have some really good players already there for him to play with. But probably the biggest reason the Falcons will go after him is because former Bears GM Ryan Pace just happens to be the team's Director of player personnel and will push the team to make the move.
