Rejoice, Chicago Bears fans. We are just around the corner from the start of the 2024 NFL Draft.
This is a pivotal draft for the Bears. The future of general manager Ryan Poles could be on the line, and the executive cannot afford to miss with the top pick. With Justin Fields now in Pittsburgh, the team needs to find a franchise quarterback. All indications are that the team will go with USC QB Caleb Williams with the first pick.
While the first pick is all but locked in, the remainder of the team's plans are a mystery. The team also owns the ninth pick, but only has one third and one fourth-round selection after the first round. Will the Bears stay put and select the best four players possible? Or will Poles do some maneuvering? Today, I want to identify the three mistakes the Bears have to avoid making in this draft.
