3 Bears players who could become first time Pro Bowlers in 2024

Caleb Williams, QB

If anyone has the potential to make the Pro Bowl as a rookie, it's Williams. It's not a exactly going out on a limb to guess that a QB who's widely regarded as a generational prospect would make the Pro Bowl, but it's also not every day that rookie QBs get to go play pointless football on a cloudy, gray day in Orlando. Williams had one of the most prolific college careers in recent memory, posting a PFF grade above 90 in each of the last three seasons – even without being able to play out of structure quite as much as he did at USC, the Bears' coaching staff will surely give him ample opportunities to extend plays with his legs.

He'll certainly have the infrastructure to put up numbers, too: being surrounded by Moore, Allen, Kmet and Everett is about the best setup that a rookie QB has ever gotten. His ability to make plays both in and out of structure will help him put up big numbers, or at the very least a highlight-reel play or two. New offensive coordinator Shane Waldron's scheme did wonders for Geno Smith in Seattle last year, which is what Bears fans will need to keep telling themselves when Williams has a bad game or two right out of the gate.
