Danielle Hunter is one of the most underrated pass rushers in the league. Hunter is a four-time Pro Bowler and was a Second-team All-Pro in 2018. Still shy of his 30th birthday, Hunter is coming off of his best professional season in 2023.

For the Vikings in 2023, Hunter collected a career-high 16.5 sacks. The veteran also had 83 combined tackles, 23 tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles. Coming off of that career season, Spotrac expects Hunter to land $20 million per year after earning $17 million in 2023.

The Bears desperately need to add to the pass rush. The team finished 31st in 2023 in sacks per game. Only Montez Sweat, who was added at the trade deadline, finished with five or more sacks. Hunter would not only transform the Bears' pass rush, but it would tremendously hurt a division rival. Hunter will cost a pretty penny, but the Bears can afford it.
