The pass rush was a major problem for the Chicago Bears again in 2023. Only the Carolina Panthers averaged fewer sacks per game than the Bears did last season. Montez Sweat was added at the trade deadline and ended with 6.5 sacks. However, no other Bear managed even five sacks.

The only move the team has made on the edge thus far is the signing of Jake Martin from the Indianapolis Colts. Martin had just two sacks and one tackle for loss in 2023, so the signing likely doesn't move the needle.

Luckily for the Bears, there are a few good pass rushers available in free agency still. The team could also choose to use the No. 9 pick on a pass rusher if the board falls right. Either way, talent needs to be added here.

Jadeveon Clowney, Michael Danna, and Tyus Bowser are quality options still on the board.
