3 Chicago Bears locking down roster spots in preseason finale

1. Noah Sewell

The injury to Noah Sewell was getting concerning. He missed the first three preseason games and had not practiced through training camp. So, needless to say, it was good to get him back this week. Sewell played the majority of the first half and got plenty of snaps on special teams. 

More than anything, he showed the coaches that he is healthy and does not need to go on any injured list to start the season. This should be what gets him a roster spot, although he should remain behind Micah Baskerville in the linebacker pecking order. Still, Sewell is locked in as the fifth linebacker.
