3. EDGE Yannick Ngakoue
Remember that the Bears signed Ngakoue? No? Can't really blame you there. Ngakoue was brought in to give the Bears' defensive line some much-needed help on the edge, and he then proceeded to have the worst season of his career. Among other depressing stats, he failed to reach eight sacks (he had 4) or force a fumble for the first time ever. And while appearing in 13 games isn't terrible, that was also, if you can believe it, the lowest of his career. According to Pro Football Focus, he was the third-worst player on the Bears' defense this year, only ahead of CB Josh Blackwell and EDGE Dominique Robinson. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this season and, especially after the Montez Sweat trade, doesn't really fit into the Bears' plans anymore.
