2. The Chicago Bears have a high-end cornerback in Jaylon Johnson

If the Chicago Bears have one area of their roster that is dominant, it is the secondary. The leader of the secondary is now Jaylon Johnson. It seems crazy to say because it feels like he was just drafted not long ago, but with Eddie Jackson out, Johnson has become the senior member of the secondary.

Kevin Byard is a long-standing veteran, but a new addition to the roster. Tyrique Stevenson, Kyler Gordon, and Jaquan Brisker were all drafted in years after Johnson. More than that, Johnson has been the top performer in the secondary as well.

He is coming off an All-Pro season and an offseason where he went from being franchise-tagged to extended for the long term. The Bears are not just betting on him for this year, they are betting on him in the long term.

Johnson exploded with interceptions last year and may not get the same turnover luck, but he has been a shutdown cornerback throughout his career, so those stats were bound to come.

Johnson is the best player on the best unit of the roster.
