Bryan Mone

Bryan Mone is the most intriguing option available on the interior. The former Seattle Seahawk was having a promising career, even inking a two-year, $12 million contract extension in 2022, before being set back by a serious injury. The DT suffered a torn ACL at the end of the 2022 season and missed all of 2023 as a result. The Seahawks released Mone this offseason.

Assuming Mone is healthy, he could still be a contributor. The massive 354-pound DT racked up 25 tackles and two tackles for loss in 2022. Mone is one of the league's better run-stuffers when healthy and would give much-needed experience to the Bears' line.

Taking a one-year flier on Mone would be worth it for the Bears. It's doubtful the veteran would cost much, and he could help improve the run defense, at least.
