Ahkello Witherspoon is again headed for free agency after signing a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams for the 2023 season. Witherspoon made the most of that pact, as he started in all 17 games and collected three interceptions. The veteran corner ended with 46 solo tackles and a 64.3 PFF grade.

Witherspoon spent the first four seasons of his career with the San Francisco 49ers before spending two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and one with the Rams. The corner could be playing for his third team in three years, but this time, Witherspoon is expected to get paid. Spotrac projects Witherspoon to land a two-year deal for around $10.2 million annually.

The Bears have a young corner room. It's crucial that Jaylon Johnson was locked up, but the team could use some veteran reinforcements. Witherspoon would be a solid outside corner who can play opposite Johnson.
