Mike Hoecht is an under-the-radar option who could be a steal for a team this offseason. Hoecht started all 17 games at outside linebacker in 2023 and collected 81 tackles, six sacks, and seven tackles for loss.

The Bears desperately need to improve the pass rush this offseason. The team finished 31st in the NFL in sacks per game last season. While there are several top-tier pass rushers available, Hoecht is a cheaper option who could be a big difference-maker.

Hoecht made just under $1 million this season and wasn't tendered by the Rams, meaning he will be an unrestricted free agent. The Bears should definitely check in with the underrated pass rusher.
