3 free agents from the Seattle Seahawks the Chicago Bears should sign
Quandre Diggs, FS
Quandre Diggs was part of a group of Seahawk veterans who were recently cut in a cost-saving maneuver. However, Diggs is not done by any stretch. The defensive back actually set a career-high in total tackles in 2023 with 95. Diggs also defended five passes and came down with one interception.
The Bears will almost certainly add a safety at some point this offseason after releasing Eddie Jackson. Diggs is a veteran option the Bears must consider. Diggs made $13 million in 2023, but after being a cap casualty, it's doubtful his 2024 number is close to that.
Diggs received a mediocre coverage grade in 2023, but was above-average as recently as 2022. A solid veteran like Diggs would do wonders for this young secondary in Chicago.
