Do the Chicago Bears have better interior offensive line depth?

On paper, the Chicago Bears have a solid interior offensive line. Teven Jenkins always seems to grade out well no matter where he plays, and Nate Davis got paid for a reason. He is a commodity at guard.

However, both bring serious injury questions. Jenkins has missed time in the first three years of his career, and nothing Davis did in 2023 represented what the Bears thought they were going to get from him when they signed him.

The Bears did a good job of adding depth. Whether it is Ryan Bates or Coleman Shelton, one will be a depth piece, along with Matt Pryor. All three are better than anything the Bears had at center, and depth in the past couple of years.

Still, there is a world where Davis gets hurt, and Bates has to move from center to guard, which is tough, and then they start a new center. It can get messy.

Even still, there is a reason that Bates, Shelton, and Pryor were all so attainable this offseason. They are solid depth, but you do not want to rely on that.

The Bears' offensive line will make or break what happens to Caleb Williams as a rookie, regardless of the pass catchers. Can they stay healthy and live up to their names?
