2. The Chicago Bears added a part-time pass rusher

As noted, the Chicago Bears likely added the fourth rusher in the group. He is clearly better than Dominique Robinson, but he is not better than Austin Booker, who flashed this preseason. Still, Taylor should see the field for the Bears.

Taylor has consistently been a part-time player for the Seahawks, averaging just under 45% of the snaps played. He played 45.6% of the snaps as a rookie, but that dropped to 44.4% and 43.9% last year.

So, his playing time and production was dropping for Seattle. When you add that a new coaching staff is in town, it makes sense why the Bears would want to add him. Still, the Bears have to realize how badly they need the depth.

Yes, they like Montez Sweat and DeMarcus Walker is nice, but they want to kick Walker inside on pass rush snaps. So, Booker and Taylor will get plenty of work as the third rusher. Beyond that, while Booker has looked nice, he is also an unproven rookie. Injuries happen as well.

If you were betting, you would probably set the line right around 44% again, and Taylor should be expected to play a similar snap count.
