Day 2 of NFL Free Agency is in the books and the Chicago Bears have yet to add to their wide receiver room. As I said, there have only been two days of free agency and there are plenty of receivers looking for a new home. So no reason to panic quite yet for Bears fans.

During Day 1 of free agency, we saw the Bears make an offer for former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis. Davis decided to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars on a three-year deal. Although the Bears submitted a similar offer, Davis ultimately decided the Jaguars were a better fit. Thus, leaving the Bears with a swing and a miss on their first free-agent wide receiver acquisition.

Let's talk about three receivers that could be in a Bears uniform before the 2024 draft.

Although the Bears missed out on Davis, that does not leave them without options. Luckily for the Bears, there are many receivers still available and the 2024 draft seems to be very receiver-heavy. The Bears have two top 10 picks that could be used on a receiver and they have plenty of cap space to still pursue another receiver in free agency.

Curtis Samuel, WR

With the Bears needing other weapons besides D.J. Moore, they could look to Moore's former teammate, Curtis Samuel. Samuel played with Moore from 2018-2020. The two receivers showed flashes of being a very good tandem.

Samuel joined the Washington Commanders in 2021. He saw minimal production in his first year with the commanders. However, he has since shown to be a very solid option for quarterbacks. In his last two seasons, he has 126 receptions for 1,269 yards and 8 touchdowns. With those numbers and his skill set, he could be a solid contributor to this Bears offense.

Tyler Boyd, WR

Another Receiver that could fit well with the Bears is Tyler Boyd. Boyd is 29 years old and spent his entire 8-year career with the Bengals. As they say, all good things come to an end. In this case, it could be Tyler Boyd's time as a Bengal that could be coming to an end.

Boyd has been the definition of reliable in his time with the Bengals. During his 8-year career, he has caught 513 passes for 6,000 yards and 31 touchdowns. This level of consistency and reliability is something that Poles could be searching for.

K.J. Osborn, WR

Rounding out the 3 potential Receiving targets for the Bears is K.J. Osborn. Osborn is 26 and is starting to find his footing in the NFL. Osborn isn't quite as established as the other two names on this list, but he is young and talented.

Osborn hasn't always been a top target in Minnesota, but that hasn't stopped him from putting up good numbers. Osborn in 3 years in Minnesota has accumulated 158 receptions for 1845 yards and 15 touchdowns. Osborn could see himself in a similar role that he saw in Minnesota. A role that should help bolster the Bears receiving core and take pressure off of D.J. Moore.
