2. Chicago Bears see the premier talents gone

One of the best thoughts of picking nine would be that they should see one of the top players at their position. If Jalen Carter falls, they could see the best defender, and if they take a tackle, it could be the first one.

In a worst-case scenario where there is only one quarterback going in the top ten, and there are no takers for the Chicago Bears pick at nine, they could see a tough spot to pick from. What if Jalen Carter, Will Anderson, Tyree Wilson, Christian Gonzalez, Paris Johnson, and Peter Skoronski are the names that go along with two quarterbacks? Or, even worse, what if you also saw Devon Witherspoon, and somehow three quarterbacks fell? That would be the worst case.

All of the sudden the case for Bijan Robinson would get stronger and stronger, or it would be someone such as Lukas Van Ness or Jaxon Smith-Njgba as the pick. In most cases, it would leave the team with a lot of questions on the offensive line, and they still may have questions on the defensive line. In most cases, one of Carter, Johnson, or Skoronski will fall and this will not be an issue. If they all are off the board things start getting interesting.
