3. Mike LaFleur -- Rams QB coach
It is almost sickening how much of a 2020s NFL hire this would be. A young, offensive guru from the McVay coaching tree? Whose related to another young, offensive guru from the McVay coaching tree? You're not a modern NFL team until you at least try a Shanahan nepotism hire. To his credit, LaFleur did some impressive work with LA this year: Matt Stafford's numbers were up basically across this board, so much so that, at one point this season, he was being included in the MVP discussion. Despite being only 36, LaFleur has plenty of game-calling experience from his time as the offensive coordinator of the Zach Wilson Jets. He even called the Rams' last game of the year, a Carson Wentz-led (!) win (!!) over the 49ers (!!!).
