It is that time of year. Right before the season, the hype really starts to build for any team, and that is no different for the Chicago Bears. The Bears had an offseason that many fans will remember and are fairly excited about. So, let's get a little crazy and think about some wild outcomes for the team this year.

5. D.J. Moore will have a career year in receiving in 2024

D.J. Moore had a career-high 1,364 receiving yards in 2023. Many fans are expecting his stats to drop a little bit. The thought is that the Bears brought in Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, Gerald Everett, and D’Andre Swift who will all eat into the target share that Moore was commanding. Some even question if Moore is the number one.

After this year, it will not be a debate as he ascends over Allen and Odunze as the top receiver. The addition of these two is only going to make life easier for him. All of the attention cannot sway to Moore, and he will see softer coverage.

Beyond that, Moore now plays with a better quarterback, Caleb Williams has the potential to be the best quarterback the veteran has ever played with. With that, the Bears are going to pass the ball a lot more. So, the target rate will drop, but if the overall volume increases, the production should, too. His efficiency will be there, the volume will be there, and this will be a solid year for D.J. Moore.
