2. The Kansas City Chiefs need offensive line help

This is the same idea as Jawaan Taylor. The Kansas City Chiefs chose to build their offensive line and not their skill players and it won them a Super Bowl. So, now we expect to see them let Orlando Brown walk with no compensation? Not happening.

The Kansas City Chiefs traded a first-round pick for Brown. He has not quite lived up to expectations, but he is still young, he was great in the Super Bowl, and he is still just going to be 27 years old next season.

The issue is that he wants franchise altering money, and the Kansas City Chiefs do not really want that. Still, for the Chiefs, they could be much more open to the sign-and-trade option than the let you walk for nothing option.

Considering what they invested in him already, they want something back. Beyond that, if he is asking for over $20M on the open market, and the Chiefs can retain him for $18M on the franchise tag, it is bad busienss to let him walk. We can talk tag and trade, but we are not going to see Orlando Brown hitting free agency.
