1. Tyler Scott

Tyler Scott was set up for a solid second year when he was drafted. He was supposed to backup Darnell Mooney as a rookie and then step into his role in year two. Then, the Bears changed coordinators, Scott had an awful rookie season, Keenan Allen became available and Rome Odunze fell to them in the draft. Needless to say, things changed and none of them were good for Scott.

Now, Scott sees himself struggling to get on the field. He is not only behind the top three receivers, but Cole Kmet, D’Andre Swift, and even Gerald Everett will be ahead of him in the pass-catching pecking order.

The good news is that Allen and Moore will not play much in the preseason due to their status. Rome Oduzne will get work as a rookie, but Tyler Scott should lead receivers in snaps when the preseason closes out. This is his one big chance to show what he can do. If he does not show much, we are unlikely to see anything from him in the regular season. If he does enough this month, the team may work him in.
