2. The Chicago Bears are all-in on Gervon Dexter

Gervon Dexter is one of the more interesting players to follow across the entire NFL. He is a second-round pick entering his second year. Dexter flashed as a rookie, but not enough for all fans to even remember who he was.

The Bears typically took him off the field on early downs, and he struggled to make up any ground on Justin Jones during his rookie season. Still, he showed just enough to make you think that an offseason of strong progression followed by more playing time could make him a strong rusher for the Bears.

The reality is that whether he is or is not going to develop, the Bears are all in on him. They have little depth to push him and if Dexter were to miss any time, they would be scrambling.

Zacch Pickens showed much as a rookie and is currently injured. So, the two depth players behind Dexter and Andrew Billings were players on other rosters just two weeks ago. One was cut, and the other was about to be cut until the Bears acquired him.
