2. The Chicago Bears defense is the real deal 

The reality is that the Bears' offense may have many chances to work things out this season because the defense is going to keep them in games. The defense looked like it turned a corner last season, and this year, it seems to be building on that. 

They shut down the Titans in the second half of week one, and a defensive touchdown gave them the win. They also held the Houston Texans to three points in the second half, which is arguably more impressive.

C.J. Stroud will be in the running for MVP and he brings three legitimate receivers with him. Nico Collins had a huge game, but most of his catches were in the first half. Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell combined for 34 yards. 

Stroud was sacked three times and the Texans leaned on their kicker to win the game. The offense is a huge concern, but nothing that the defense has done in the last two weeks makes you think that this team will be out of contention anytime soon. They just need to buy the offense enough time to get going and this team could still be dangerous this season.
