3. Caleb Williams is getting better each week

Every week there is a narrative that gets beat to death, then something happens on the field that makes it feel so silly, and then we move to the next narrative. The talking points about Caleb Williams being a potential bust, and the Bears making an awful decision with him has been the talking point this week thanks to Jayden Daniels. He may be in a great spot to make people look silly this Sunday.

Williams has gotten better in every game this season. It has not been the easiest road for him, either. He faced a Tennessee Titans defense that looks good, they seem to only lose games because of the offense turning the ball over. Then, he had to face the Texans in their home opener on Sunday Night Football. That is a tough environment.

The Colts' defense was not great, but they were desperate given their record. Still, we started to see Williams find his groove. He played with timing in the Texans game and hit downfield shots in the Colts game.

The Titans defense ranks 11th in expected points allowed, the Texans are 14th and the Colts are 16th. The Rams are 31st. We should expect to see more points this week.
