5 things we must see from the Chicago Bears in Week 3
Caleb Williams has to start hitting deep shots down the field
Caleb Williams is supposed to be a quarterback who can hit so many big plays that you forgive a mistake or two. So far, that has not been the case. Williams is 0-9 when attempting to pass the ball 20 yards downfield, and honestly, most passes have not even been close to being completed. This week, Williams has to at least complete one of these passes.
The Colts secondary came into the year with questions about its potential. They were leaning on a lot of young, and unproven talent. One of those names, JuJu Brents, is out for this week, leaving them young, inexperienced, and now lacking the talent.
With Jaylon Jones and Dallis Flowers likely getting work on the outside, the Bears have to attack this cornerback room. More than that, their best safety, Julian Blackmon, missed last week. He is expected to return this week, but he is recovering from an injury, so he may not be at his best.
The Colts secondary looked weak entering the year, and it is in a worse position right now. We must see the Bears take advantage.
