Coach Matt Eberflus - Paulie Walnuts (The Sopranos)

The Sopranos has many of the most visually provocative characters in HBO's catalog, and perhaps none is more immediately recognizable than Paulie Walnuts. The lovable yet delusional captain of Tony's family, Paulie's wing-tipped hair is an iconic look that will continue to survive actor Tony Sirico.

On a recent episode of the Rich Eisen Show, NFL Network's Kyle Brandt discussed head coach Matt Eberflus, whom he repetitively referred to as "Flus". Specifically, Brandt made a point to discuss Flus's physical transformation over the off-season, a phenomenon that many Bears fans are well familiar with. To the tune of this article, Brandt stated "He's about to be a star on HBO... and I have to tell you, looking at the hair, he has just slight Paulie Walnuts vibes, I was trying to think of his HBO comp, and that's good, that's a very likable character". It is hard to disagree here with Brandt, whose expertise as a former cast member of Days of Our Lives gives him as informed of an opinion as anyone.
