Bears fans would laugh if this Jordan Love prediction comes true

This would be hilarious.

It wouldn't be the offseason if we weren't reading about hypotheticals and predictions, would it? While the Chicago Bears were busy wrapping up mandatory minicamp and the media heard from guys like Caleb Williams, Matt Eberflus and more, others were busy down a rabbit hole of 'what-ifs.'

Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon recently wrote a column about several NFL quarterbacks who might end up changing teams in the coming year, and at the tail end of it, he included Packers quarterback Jordan Love.

Wrote Gagnon:

"Love isn't likely going anywhere anytime soon, but until he signs an extension he's included here. That's because the 25-year-old breakout star from 2023 is entering a walk year, and it's important to keep in mind that he's only shined for a single half-season stretch in his four-year career.

If he proves that wasn't a fluke, the Packers will almost definitely find a way to keep him around. But it's also possible he blows up, in which case anything is on the table."

Bears fans deserve an era where the Packers have zero answer at quarterback

First of all, I have to say that I have a hard time seeing Love fall on his face in 2024. Based on how he ended the 2023 campaign and the weaponry he now has to work with both in the back field and at wide receiver, Love is set up for another strong year.

Heck, his 2023 campaign is one that Bears fans would have killed for in Chicago. Over 4,000 passing yards and 30-plus touchdown passes? Never heard of it.

But, if Love were to come back down to earth and show that 2023 was a one-hit wonder, how sweet would it be? Fans in Chicago have long dealt with the Packers having not just an answer at the quarterback position, but a pair of future Hall of Famers over the course of three decades.

To say 'it's not fair' would be an understatement. One organization has gotten it right multiple times, while the other has. failed over and over again. Hopefully, the tides have now turned with Caleb Williams in Chicago.

And, ideally, Love doesn't pan out in Green Bay and the Packers are searching for answers in 2025.

Will it happen? Probably not. But, it sure would be hysterical if it did.
