1. Dominique Robinson

Dominique Robinson has been nothing short of a miss in the NFL so far. He was drafted so late that it is hard to say bust, he has shown limited improvement as he enters his third NFL season. This will be one of his last chances to make the roster.

Injuries to Jacob Martin and the inexperience of Austin Booker and Daniel Hardy have led to Robinson being the third edge rusher on the depth chart. The injury to Montez Sweat pushed him to starter status in the preseason.

However, it has been clear that not only Booker but also Hardy have been better than him in the previous season. They have been lower on the depth chart and faced lower competition, but this week we should see a change.

The Bears should give Booker and Hardy snaps earlier in the game and then Robinson can play later. If Robinson cleans up in the way that Booker and Hardy do while those two struggle, then you know it is a competition thing. If either of those two excels, they are locked in to play ahead of Robinson and the team knows it. If Robinson struggles, he should struggle to make the roster as well.
