Bears vs Bills preseason Week 1: 5 players with the most at stake
3. Larry Borom
The Chicago Bears have had to start Larry Borom too often over the last couple of seasons, and they are not trying to go down that path anymore. They drafted Kiran Amegadjie and signed Jake Curhan to push him away from being a backup.
Unfortunately, the rookie from Yale is still injured and will not play for yet another week.
Borom is a long shot even with Amegadjie on an injured list. The Bears should trust Curhan, who they signed this offseason, as a swing tackle. They also have Matt Pryor, who will play guard this weekend but can play tackle in a pinch.
So, Borom really has to step his game up if he is going to make the roster, injuries may not hand it to him. Also, he is now auditioning for 31 teams. This has to be Borom at his best, do we see anything new?
