After sitting out the NFL Hall of Fame game, it seems that Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams is slated to be the starting quarterback for their preseason game against the Buffalo Bills this Saturday.
Matt Eberflus has previously stated that the plan is for Williams to have between 45 and 55 snaps this preseason. Given that blueprint, it would seem likely that Williams will play most of the first quarter.

What to Watch for in Bears vs. Bills Game:
Caleb Williams will be the reason to watch this game as he will be making his preseason debut. Given the health, or lack thereof, of the Bears' offensive line, don't be surprised if the Bears have a quick hook for Williams in this game.
Velus Jones Jr. has been given a run at running back this past week during practices. As the Bears also look to decide between Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson as the backup behind D'Andre Swift, it will be interesting to see if Jones gets a run at the position during the game.
