The Chicago Bears may be eliminated from the NFL postseason, but at least they have a chance to play spoiler against their biggest rival in Week 18 when they take on the Green Bay Packers.

If the Green Bay Packers beat the Bears on Sunday, they'll clinch a playoff spot, but if they lost, they'll effectively be eliminated from the postseason as long as one of the Seahawks, Vikings, or Saints win their respective games. If the Bears can't make the playoffs, the next best thing for them has to be eliminating the Packers from doing so.

In this article, I'm going to break down everything you need to know to bet on this game.

Bears vs. Packers key players to watch

Chicago Bears

Justin Fields: The Bears quarterback has one more game to make his case to be the team's quarterback moving forward. Chicago has the No. 1 pick in the draft by way of the Panthers and with Caleb Williams being one of the most highly touted quarterback prospects in recent memory, it's going to say a lot about their faith in Fields if they pass on Williams and go a different direction with their top pick.

Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love: The Packers quarterback has a chance to lead them to the playoffs in his first year as their starter. The team is in the exact same position they were last year with a "win and get in" game in Week 18. Can Love deliver what Rodgers couldn't last year? This is the biggest game he's played in this season.

Bears vs. Packers prediction and pick

The two defenses for this team have been complete opposites in the second half of the season and I'm actually shocked the Packers are a full-field goal favorite in this game, despite this being a "win and get in" spot for them.

Since Week 10, the Bears lead the NFL in opponent EPA per Play and opponent success rate, turning into the dominant Bears' defense we've come to expect every year. Meanwhile, the Packers defense has imploded and ranks 25th and 26th in those two respective stats over the same time frame.

The Packers offense has been great down the stretch and Jordan Love looks like he has secured his spot as the QB of the future for the Packers, but the difference in the play between the two defenses in this one is significant enough for me to take the field goal with Chicago.
