The Tyson Bagent experiment came crashing back down to earth on Sunday Night Football in Week 8 when the Chicago Bears fell in a blowout to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Fortunately for him, he'll get at least one more shot as he's slated to get the start against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9 action. In this article, I'm going to break down everything you need to know to bet on the game, including odds, trends, and my best bet.

Bears vs. Saints key players to watch

Chicago Bears

D'onta Foreman: The Bears running back failed to get going against the Chargers, but Chicago got down so early that the game script didn't allow him to find a flow. With that being said, the Bears' success relies on their run game so Foreman has to have a strong performance if they want a chance at upsetting the Saints.

New Orleans Saints

Rashid Shaheed: Saints finally found a way to get a few explosive plays last week against the Colts and Rashid Shaheed plays a massive role in that part of their offense. He's averaging an astounding 20.8 yards per receptions and last week he had 153 yards and a touchdown on only three catches. If he can keep up that production, the Saints offense is going to be tough to stop.

Bears vs. Saints prediction and pick

Let's pump our brakes on our expectations for the Saints offense. Just because they had one good game against the Colts, let's remember they're 22nd in yards per play and 16th in EPA/Play.

The Bears' defense may just be built to shut them down. Believe it or not, Chicago leads the entire NFL in opponent yards per carry, keeping teams to averaging just 3.3 yards per rush. If they can shut down the Saints' running game, they may struggle if they have to rely completely on the am of Derek Carr.

It's going to be tough for the Bears to win this game outright, but getting a touchdown worth of points is crazy in my opinion. I'll back Chicago to cover as 7.5-point underdogs.
