The Chicago Bears need to go after Denico Autry

The Chicago Bears have to add pass rushers in 2024. Once again, the team struggled to get to opposing quarterbacks and finished 31st in sacks per game. Only Montez Sweat, who was added at the 2023 NFL Trade Deadline, finished with more than 5 sacks.

The Bears added a former Titans' pass rusher last offseason in DeMarcus Walker and should do so again this offseason. Denico Autry will be a free agent and is coming off of an 11.5-sack season. Autry will be 34 when the 2024 season starts but has shown he can still get to the passer.

Autry likely won't break the bank due to his age, so the Bears should not hesitate to reach out. Autry is a proven pass rusher who can help mentor a young group of linemen in Chicago.
