2. One of the Chicago Bears day two rookies finishes with more snaps than Justin Jones

Depending on what you think of Justin Jones will depend on how bold you see this prediction. There are two ways to view Justin Jones. First, he was the best defensive lineman that the Chicago Bears had last year, and it may not have been close.

At the same time, even as the best lineman in the group, he was below average as a defensive lineman. He also was the Chicago Bears' backup plan, so they are not tied to him being their man for the future. In fact, he is due a contract at the end of this year and may leave in free agency.

With that in mind the Chicago Bears may feel compelled to play one of Gervon Dexter and Zacch Pickens over him. The two are young with upside. If they flash, there is more to be taken from them, than Jones.

Pickens is more pro-ready and could be the guy who steps in day one. However, Dexter is more physically imposing, and if he puts it together, the impact he has on games will be greater than nayone oelse they have on the orster. The progression of Pickens and Dexter will determine their playing time more than anything Jones does. If one of them is ready, they will lead the unit in snaps.
