2. The Chicago Bears get 50 yards from both Khalil Herbert and D’onta Foreman

The Chicago Bears are expected to activate Khalil Herbert off of the IR this week. He looks to be fully healthy, but after D’onta Foreman had a great run as the Bears lead back, the question is, who will lead the way this week? Foreman may continue to get the heavy workload since Herbert is just returning.

However, Herbert may get enough to hit 50 yards and show that this can be a two-dimensional rushing attack. Herbert is fast enough that he can get to 50 yards on just one rush. The Carolina Panthers defense is poor enough that they may let that happen.

They are the worst run defense the Bears have faced, and the Bears have one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL. That has a lot to do with Justin Fields, but as we noted, Foreman has done fine without him as well.

The combination of Teven Jenkins and Darnell Wright on the right side has brought something to this urn game that Herbert has not been running behind.

So, it may not take him as many carries to get there. Foreman can get there because he will get the carries. Foreman should handle the heavy work, and if the Bears are up late, he will be the one to put things away. Look for the Chicago Bears to ride both backs and both of them to hit 50 yards.
