1. The Chicago Bears will beat the Las Vegas Raiders
This is a bold call, but the Bears are just three-point underdogs this week. That is because the Bears are facing a backup quarterback of their own. In Las Vegas, we do not even know if it will be Brian Hoyer or Aidan O'Connell. O'Connell started and struggled against the Chargers, and Hoyer came in and beat the New England Patriots last week.
Either way, the Bears come in with the better defense. When you add in that Kyler Gordon and Jaylon Johnson are healthy and Eddie Jackson should play, this could be the best performance we have seen from this unit, and they have been much better in the past couple of weeks.
The Bears can get D.J. Moore the ball against this bad pass defense, and if they can get any push in the run game the Raiders defense is not tough upfront. Lastly, the Raiders are in a tough spot. They just beat the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football and then beat the New England Patriots in a game that meant a lot to their head coach, but also a lot of the personnel who used to be Patriots.
Now, they get the Bears, and after that, they are right back on prime time to take on the Detroit Lions. You can only get emotionally charged so many times. The Raiders just had two emotional games and are looking at a big one next week. They may slip up and come out flat on the road, in the cold, in a place they are not familiar with. Look for the Bears to win.
