2. PJ Walker makes more than one start for the Chicago Bears

Even if Justin Fields is running less, his playing style leads to big hits. Fields is not the type of player to let any play die, and he still will struggle to throw the ball away. The added skill players will only make him want to stand in the pocket for a split-second longer and try to make a play down the field.

That could lead to much bigger hits and a potential injury. We already saw an injury last year, and while it is easy to say injury-prone, you would be surprised how many quarterbacks in the NFL miss a game or two. On average, backup quarterbacks play about 65 games per year. So, on average, every team may see their backup play two games. Of course, some teams get lucky and go under two games, while some unfortunately go over, but many teams see their quarterback miss two or three games per year.

It is an ironman position, and it is hard to make it through the whole season without needing one week to get everything back on the right track.
