2. The Chicago Bears will pick Jordan Love off twice

We do not know how Jordan Love will perform in the first game that he is considered the future of the Green Bay Packers. However, one thing we do know is that the Chicago Bears made sure to improve their coverage. They drafted Tyrique Stevenson and signed two of the best coverage linebackers in the NFL.

Stevenson helps push Kyler Gordon into the slot, and it may make the Bears better in that area as well. The addition of Edmunds gives them a huge body that is hard to throw over and impacts the passing lanes. Meanwhile, TJ Edwards excels in the run-and-chase role, so the duo fits naturally together,

When you add in that Jaquan Brisker was a rookie, and Eddie Jackson was injured last year but was having a great season, the entire pass defense could improve exponentially. This could be tough for Jordan Love.

Love is relying on Christian Watson, who had high moments in 2022, but also had 11 of his 14 active games under 50 yards, and five of them were under 15 yards. He can be unreliable. Meanwhile, Romeo Doubs never cracked 100 yards and only went over 50 yards three times. Then, Jayden Reed and Luke Musgrave are rookies. They can all grow together, but there are a lot of question marks for week one on the road.

If the Chicago Bears can get a lead on Jordan Love, he will be looking to make plays, and these guys may not be up to the task. Tremaine Edmunds and Eddie Jackson will walk away from the first game with a pair of picks.
