1. Kyler Gordon is the Chicago Bears biggest bounceback candidate

This one is the most obvious, and it has to happen. At the very least, there is almost no way that Kyler Gordon can have the same year in 2021 that he had in 2022. By the end of the season, he even started to play better than the start. To be fair, it was hard to get much worse than the start of his season.

Aaron Rodgers decided to target him nearly every snap during the second week of his career, and he did not live up to expectations. Then came Justin Jefferson. He also was moving in and out of the slot, something he rarely did in college.

Beyond that, the Chicago Bears had no pass rush to speak of, and the rookie was out there swimming in water way above his head.

Needless to say, fans can be worried about Kyler Gordon, but at the same time have to admit that Gordon was almost set up to have a bad season. So, now is the time to bounce back. The pass rush is not leaps and bounds better, but it is better. Beyond that, Gordon may be sticking to just the slot this season. Lastly, just being in his second NFL season and having an offseason to reflect on what he learned could lead to better outcomes. When the outside factors get mixed in with self-improvement, you have a pretty potent combination.
