Broncos vs. Bears best anytime touchdown scorer picks (Roschon Johnson will score)

The Broncos just allowed 70 points, so the Bears have to be able to reach the end zone at least a couple of times in Week 4.

There are only three 0-3 teams in the entire NFL and these are two of them. The Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears were both embarrassed last weekend in blowout losses, but now they’ll get to play against a team that’s more their speed.

The Bears offense has been ugly this season, but I’d still rather have Justin Fields than Russell Wilson for $50 million a year, so let’s back Chicago for some of our anytime TD scorer bets.

When you’re betting this Week 4 matchup, you can do it with this promo from PointsBet and get up to $1,000 in second chance bets if your bet loses.

Broncos vs. Bears anytime TD picks

  • Cole Kmet +350
  • Roschon Johnson +200
  • Courtland Sutton +185

Cole Kmet +350

Cole Kmet is seeing a lot of involvement in the Chicago offense, just not in the red zone yet. He has been targeted a team-high 15 times and has a team-high 11 catches. However, he hasn’t scored and is only averaging 9.5 yards per catch. Also, only two of his 15 targets have come in the red zone. I think that number starts to go up as Chase Claypools’ targets decline.

Claypool has only caught four of his 14 targets this season.

Roschon Johnson +200

The rookie has been very involved, but not just in the run game. Johnson has carried the ball 17 times for 90 yards this season, but he’s also been targeted 11 times and has caught 10 passes. Justin Fields is 24th in average depth of target, so Johnson and other backs will see a lot of checkdowns. Johnson has reached the end zone once and that came on the ground, which is also good news because Denver gave up a mere 350 rushing yards last week.

Courtland Sutton +185

Let’s be honest, with Chicago’s defense, we can’t only bet on the Bears to score in this one. That wouldn’t be too smart. Sutton is the Bronco to go with this week because of his immense size and immense target volume to go along with it. Sutton has seen a team-high 23 targets this season and leads the Broncos with 17 catches and two touchdowns. Of those 23 targets, five have come in the red zone and he’s caught four of those. Five red zone targets is the third highest for any wide receiver in the NFL.
