The Chicago Bears are days away from building this regime's future. Ryan Poles tore everything down and now needs to build everything back up again. Poles was able to help add weapons to the roster by lucking into the first pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. He turned that pick into multiple draft picks plus D.J. Moore. Landing Moore gives Justin Fields an elite receiver that was not going to be available in free agency. Now, Poles has a top wide receiver and still holds a top-10 draft pick that can be used to draft almost any position rather than focusing on a first-round wide receiver.

When we look at the prospects available in the 2023 NFL Draft, plenty of players make sense for Ryan Poles in the first round. The team has plenty of needs. The Chicago Bears need a starting right tackle. The Chicago Bears need a starting defensive end or two. The Chicago Bears need a starting 3-technique. The Chicago Bears need a third cornerback. Finally, the Chicago Bears need depth throughout both sides of the ball.

How will the Chicago Bears build for the future in the 2023 NFL Draft?

With my final mock draft before the 2023 NFL Draft, I wanted to address needs, while also going with the best players available. What's important to remember is that not every name on here will be correct. Figuring out what positions the team will target in each round is what's the most important when doing these mock drafts. The problem is, the Bears can go in so many directions that will cause a snowball effect throughout the rest of the rounds. Here's my best attempt at what Ryan Poles will do this week.
