The Chicago Bears trade down with the Raiders

I was unable to make a trade work that made sense with the ninth-overall pick. I attempted to trade down with the Titans at 11, the Commanders at 16, the Steelers at 17, and the Buccaneers at 19. However, none of those teams were interested enough to move up to nine and I could not get a deal done that I felt comfortable with. I took Paris Johnson, Jr. and moved on.

When the Chicago Bears were on the clock again at 53, I was able to trade down. The Las Vegas Raiders sent 57 to the Bears for 53. Here is the full trade:

There were enough players on the board that I felt comfortable moving down the few picks now to move up nearly 40 picks later. I was bummed to see the Raiders take my top center in John Michael Schmitz, but I wasn't too upset for long with who was still available for me at 57.
