Chicago Bears Draft Pick No. 103: Zach Harrison, DE - Ohio State

Even though length wasn't specified on the tables shown by the Chicago Bears media team when recording somewhat recent behind-the-scenes YouTube videos, that is one thing you are going to get by drafting Zach Harrison. He stands 6'5" and has a massive wingspan. I have been on the Harrison hype train for quite some time now and I am concerned he won't fall to this point in the draft. His stock has climbed up many analysts' draft boards.

You would have liked to see more production out of Harrison at Ohio State though. He finished his final season with six sacks and 24 pressures, but he was very inconsistent. Will he be able to turn it on more at the NFL level or does he lack the ability to remain in a full attacking mode every snap? Harrison would make for a strong rotational piece on this defense and with the early additions to the defensive line plus the free agent acquisitions, the ability to get to the quarterback looks vastly improved.

If the Chicago Bears are able to turn Harrison's flashes of elite pass-rushing ability into a consistent, dominant force then he could be the steal of the draft. At the very least, he needs to contribute in 2023 in a rotational role the same way Dominique Robinson did last season.
