The Chicago Bears are still the talk of the NFL offseason. They have the most cap space and the number one overall draft pick. I enjoy saying that, even though it means the Bears were the worst team in the NFL in 2022. The 2023 NFL Draft is right around the corner. If Ryan Poles is going to build this team "correctly," he will need to do most of his damage through the draft. So here are my rankings of the NFL prospects for the Chicago Bears. Scheme fit, style, and personality (from what I can gather without interviewing them myself) will weigh heavily on my rankings.

Chicago Bears, Will Anderson

Chicago Bears Prospect Ranking No. 1. Will Anderson - EDGE | Alabama

My top choice and still top choice goes to "The Terminator." Will Anderson showed everyone that his athleticism matches his tape at the 2023 NFL Combine. He is even bigger than I thought, 6'3-1/2" and 253 pounds. The Chicago Bears need a lot. Anderson would be an ideal pick with the first-overall selection, but they need more draft assets and should trade away from him.

Chicago Bears, Tyree Wilson

Chicago Bears Prospect No. 2: Tyree Wilson - EDGE | Texas Tech

As many know, Tyree Wilson has been my number two edge player all year. He isn't my number two prospect, but he was and still is above Jalen Carter. I know what you are thinking, but Kahlil Mack was drafted behind Jadeveon Clowney, Blake Bortels, and Sammy Watkins. I stay away from national media opinion and value my two eyes and other draft guys I respect (The QB School and others) over what Mike Tannenbaum says on television.
