Week 14: Chicago Bears @ San Francisco 49ers

Kyle Shanahan is another great coach in the NFL and he and Sean McVay both come from his father's coaching tree. Shane Waldron is somewhat of an indirect branch also. I really like this 49ers team though and I think they find a way to compete for another Super Bowl appearance in 2024. Chicago is not good enough in this one and Matt Eberflus gets outcoached by Shanahan. The 49ers embarrass the Bears' defense in this one.

Bears - 17 | 49ers - 30

Week 15: Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings

I actually have the Chicago Bears splitting with every divisional opponent in 2024. Matt Eberflus doesn't have the best track record in the NFC North, but that is all changing with new coordinators and a new quarterback. Chicago's defense comes out to play in this one, keeping the Vikings' offense from finding the end zone even one time.

Bears - 20 | Vikings - 9

Week 16: Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions

The Chicago Bears are about to face the 2023 NFC North champs at home in this one. Jared Goff just signed a ridiculously huge contract in the off-season. Nothing against Goff, but I just don't think he is worthy of that amount of money. I think it backfires for the Lions in the long run, but he's good enough to make the Lions a solid team, something they haven't consistently been, for at least a few years. The good news for Chicago Bears fans is that Goff struggles against the Bears' defense. He threw five interceptions in two games versus the Bears last year. Chicago takes this one at home.

Bears - 27 | Lions - 24
