2. The Chicago Bears must stick to the run against the Green Bay Packers

The easiest way to protect Justin Fields and keep your offensive line comfortable is to run the football. Braxton Jones is best in the run game, as is free agent Nate Davis and Cody Whitehair. They need to lean on these guys downhill.

It helps that Chicago is coming off of a historic year rushing the football. It starts with Justin Fields, but even when he does not run the ball, his presence opens rushing lanes for the running backs to have a much easier time. With that in mind, this attack should not be any less lethal.

The Green Bay Packers are hoping their rushing defense is better than last year because last year, it was a major issue. The unit ranked in the bottom ten in any category you can think of. They are hoping for steps forward from a guy like Devonte Wyatt, and they are hoping for better health from Rashan Gary.

Still, this unit was poor, and they essentially are running back the same group. When you look at this game, the Chicago Bears' pass protection will struggle against the Green Bay front. However, their run blocking should be able to create some holes downhill. It seems counter-intuitive to come out and throw the ball. Look for the Bears to limit possessions and hit chunk plays on the ground against the Packers' run defense.
