It is officially draft season! The 2023 NFL Draft is now less than a month away. Check out our mock draft section to see what the Chicago Bears could potentially do. We have been running multiple mock drafts by multiple contributors. One name I have not seen selected at nine but is receiving plenty of talk among Bears fans is Texas running back, Bijan Robinson. I thought I'd take a look at what this would look like should Ryan Poles see Robinson's name still available when Chicago is on the clock.

Bijan Robinson is by far the top running back prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft class. Some look at him and think he's the best running back prospect to come into the league since Saquan Barkley went second overall to the New York Giants.

Taking a RB in the first round would be a mistake for Chicago Bears

Robinson is a big, strong running back. He stands 5'11" and 215 pounds. He is lean and has 4.46 speed. Outside of a handful of teams, Robinson will instantly step in as the top guy in the backfield. He is a three-down back who can catch the ball out of the backfield. He is agile enough to make an open defender miss and he's powerful enough to just run through them. He is a very well-rounded running back and would look amazing in the backfield with Justin Fields.

Why then, should Ryan Poles cross Bijan Robinson off of his draft board already?
