Chicago Bears defensive players who should bounce back in Week 2

The Chicago Bears' defense looked solid in the first half but struggled mightily in the second half. The defensive line couldn't generate pressure all game and eventually, the defensive backs let up too many yards in the passing game. It wasn't as though the total offense was great for Green Bay, but Chicago couldn't get off the field on third down. Here are a few players on defense I expect to bounce back today for Chicago.

Eddie Jackson, S

Eddie Jackson allowed a too-easy touchdown in the first half. He got caught out of position and allowed the receiver to have the inside angle instead of cutting that off. He also seemed to be out of position too many times. I am a big Jackson proponent and have been cheerleading for him during the years most fans thought he was awful. However, today was not his best. He allowed four catches on seven targets for 93 yards. I am expecting better from him today.

T.J. Edwards, LB

Too often I saw T.J. Edwards taking poor angles in the passing game. He seemed to be out of his gap at times during multiple run games too. I'll admit he showed up better in the second half than the first, but it was not a good day for Edwards. I'm again hoping this was rust as many of these starters barely played during the preseason. Tampa Bay doesn't look to have a strong running game and although Edwards finished with 14 combined (6 solos) tackles, it wasn't enough. He should bounce back today.
